Add Eco DF 5505-53 is a highly effective mineral oil–based defoamer emulsion formulated for use in aqueous systems ranging from neutral pH to high alkalinity. It is a non-ionic liquid defoamer containing a special silicone component that provides excellent foam knock-down and long-lasting foam control.
In addition to destroying surface and micro-foam, Add Eco DF 5505-53 effectively prevents foam regeneration, ensuring smooth processing and improved finish quality. The product is compatible with a wide range of aqueous formulations and disperses easily in water, making it simple to incorporate during different stages of production.
It is widely used in high PVC aqueous coatings, water-reducible primers, emulsion paints, overprint varnishes, cement admixtures, and adhesive emulsions. The product is APEO-free, meeting current environmental and regulatory requirements.
